Knitta Please: "69 Meters" Installation

On May 13th, I participated in the installation of Magda Sayeg's (founder of Knitta Please) project "69 Meters" - covering 69 parking meters on Montague Street in Brooklyn, NY, commissioned by the Montague Street BID. Fellow {NewNew} members also participated in the event! A lot of passerby's by stopped to ask what were were doing, and we got a lot of great feedback. People were genuinely interested & loved the color that we brought to the street. It was a really fun community project, and I'm really glad that I got to be a part of it!

Here I am covering my meter, which has a bike attached to it!

Mission accomplished. Like my signature power cord design?

Kimm of Kimmchi's piece - she learned to knit just for the project!
