Someone's been in the kitchen....

I'm on a squash kick. Today I decided to make a squash soup. I call it Squash Soup! Ingredients include, water, 1 salted bullion cube, 1 can unsweetened coconut milk, 1 heaping teaspoon of curry powder (2 if you like a runny nose!), butternut squash, rutabaga, zucchini, and kabocha squash. Yum!


While I had the cutting board out & was in chopping mode, I thought, why not shred up some zucchini for one of my favorite breads - chocolate chip zucchini! I have to say that I've perfected this bread after making it so many times :)

Last year I started making drawings of happy cookie monsters on the paper bags of cookies that I gave to friends. This one was for Danielle!

Olive Oil Cookies. Last week's treat, these came out absolutely addicting: chocolate chip, oatmeal, & sunflower nut butter. Salty & sweet - my tastebuds were in heaven.

Saturday's bread: Butternut Squash Bread.
I told you I was on a squash kick! This is experimental, & I think it turned out pretty good. I took basic sweet bread recipe, substituted in steamed butternut squash cubes & added lots of walnuts.
